Small groups at the academy gym on Koshtoyantsa 20/3. Three classes a week, mornings and Saturday evening. First class 1,000 ₽.
The group is open to everyone, no experience or flexibility required. Some people step on a mat for the first time, others have practised for years and simply want a studio closer to home.
We work on flexibility, breathing and joint mobility, with extra attention to the back and neck that take the load during a working day. The pace is calm and the teacher offers variations for every level, so people of different backgrounds train side by side.
Classes run in the same hall the jiu-jitsu academy uses: a large mat, showers and changing rooms. Many of our students come to recover between training sessions, but this is a separate class and you are welcome without doing martial arts at all.

Certified yoga teacher: hatha yoga, stretching, functional practice, mobility.
A qualified teacher: a 400-hour professional retraining course at the Yoga Academy and a 200-hour foundation course at the Prana centre, covering anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, teaching methodology, breathing practice and pranayama.
Before joining the academy she taught group classes at the Lab Space and I AM studios: hatha yoga, stretching, healthy back, functional and women’s practice, groups of 12 to 15 people. She also runs a private practice and builds individual programmes.
Fifteen years of dance and choreography stand behind her, hence the attention to coordination, balance and quality of movement. In class she guides with her voice and corrects with her hands, explaining complex movements in plain words.
She sets the load according to what a person can actually do rather than the average of the group, and remembers everyone’s injuries, limits and goals. That is why complete beginners feel at ease with her.
20/3 Koshtoyantsa Street, Moscow. The gym sits where Troparyovo-Nikulino, Prospekt Vernadskogo, Ramenki and Ochakovo meet, so it is easy to reach from several directions.
