Mateus Senna
Mateus started Brazilian jiu-jitsu at the age of three and essentially grew up on the mats. He entered his first competition at four and has been gathering experience ever since, growing up alongside the sport.
He began coaching at fifteen. Despite his age, he already has serious competitive experience: he finds an approach to every student and focuses not only on results, but on understanding the technique.
In class he goes through the details, explains why each technique works and helps students move forward with confidence. What matters to him is that a person does not simply copy movements, but understands the logic of jiu-jitsu and develops technically, physically and mentally.
Today Mateus leads both kids and adult groups, prepares students for competition and helps everyone reach their potential on the mats, whatever their age or level.
