Sofia Kudreshova
Brazilian jiu-jitsu purple belt and Candidate Master of Sport. Multiple-time medallist at the Russian Junior Championships and at AJP and ACB international tournaments.
Her path started at the age of ten, when she first walked into the KCA gym and discovered Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Sport has been a large part of her life ever since.
Today Sofia keeps training at the academy, competing and developing as an athlete, and passes her experience on to the academy’s youngest jitseiros: she runs the 3–6 age group.
Working with children, she cares about more than technique: a love of sport, respect for your partner, discipline, confidence, and not being afraid of mistakes.
She studies at the Russian University of Sport (GTSOLIFK), tying her profession to what she loves.
